Love The Sport

I started planing Disc Golf back in the mid 80's. My PDGA number is 4413. Back then, there was probably twenty or so different types disc to choose from. My first disc was a red "candy" Phamtom+ from Discraft. I still have that disc tucked away in a safe place.

I stopped play around 1989-90 because of knee problems and I was traveling way too much for work. I totally forgot about Disc Golf for almost 10 years.

I started playing again in 1998. WOW! has the sport changed in ten years. There are almost 20,000 registered PDGA member, who would have thought... There are probably almost if not more than 100 different types of discs... Something like seven or more types of pole-holes now...

I'll tell you what, these new discs are extremely hard to throw compared to the *olden* days discs. They are so over-stable it's not even funny.
